It seems October 31 is rolling around again, a night where kids and kids at heart can run around scaring each other and begging for food. October 31 always happens to fall right in the middle of my exam week, so for the past few years Ive spent October 31 studying on the balcony and pegging lollies at children. It's sort of a trick and a treat all in one go.

Now I'm sitting at the awkward halloween party where I know no one. I've decided to be anti social and blog (aka talk to myself) about my costume. I'm a minion.

I found the idea for this on Disneybound. Google it for ideas, its fab.

Also, how great is Katy Perry's new album Prism!?!? I smashed my phone screen and was feelin sad so picked it up as a present for myself. Bit of self inflicted karma. Katy is so mainstream pop, but she does it so well. I really hope she goes on tour to Oz.

Hello lovelies!

Hope your all well! Seems like forever since I've done a real blog post :( I'm trying to avoid distractions until after my finals are over (10 more days and counting) but I thought I'd do a sneaky little check in. 

I went to a Hipster dress up last saturday night! Hence the Taylor Swift reference. On a side note, it's the one year a anniversary of her album Red! Go Tay! #swiftielyfe 

Anyway, yes. I wore a tomato soup dress. As weird as that is, I totally love it!! It's got that quirky cool feel to it.

Photos from the fleet review in Sydney last saturday, me, looking like a tourist. 

Sorry the photos are a little jumbled, I just wanted to point out the strange dragon gave me the box of zumbarons. I thought that was pretty blog-worthy. Incase you don't know what a fleet review is.. dont worry, I don't really know either :) but it sure was a lot of fun. We hung out in the city looking at the collection of old boats and new boats and just lots of boats. Also, we saw the Prince!! Prince Harry! (through binoculars from about a km away..) Overall, it was a real adventure!

This week has been such an wefjkherdfkhbjaeops;ldfkcmwaoesldfkmvodkflhbnsdzz. I'm back at school, as of 2 days ago, and I have 3 weeks until my final exams. Crazy. Today was unbelievably warm, it hit like 37 degrees, it was one of those days I wish I had a pool. 

So between my crazy studying, I've been spending my days on tumblr. Yes, I've joined the mainstream. Check out my tumblr here

Also, I watched the first ever episode of pretty little liars tonight. Oh my goodness gracious golden tumblr pineapples. wow. I can't believe I've only discovered PLL now..

I've also been spending my days reading the latest issue of shop till you drop and extras (the uglies series). #procrastinationstation Who's with me? #ihatefinals

To Jelly or not to Jelly?

Before I start, I am not sure if jellies (the shoes) is a noun or a possesive noun. Should jellies plural be spelt jellies or jelly's? Ha. I'm such a nerd, how about we just go with jellies..

I've spent a considerable amount of my school holidays on the hunt for some metallic sandals, but I couldn't find a pair I liked. I came across these, jellies cross clogs for only $30, I was sold. Jellies are totally on trend right now, I scored a ton of complements walking around in these babies on friday night! One particularly close, your-honesty-wont-offend-me- friend told me jellies were crocs cousin.. interesting way to put it. However, once she saw the cute little heel she lightened up a bit, maybe jellies are crocs distant cousin from New York?

I will admit, my feet were kinda killing by the end of the night, blistered because they were new and sweaty because those shoes are plastic, but all in all, I looooove them! I had a pink pair when I was 2, so it's like my childhood, but classy. Plus, I found a pair of shoes that almost go with literally all my clothes, thats pretty rare for my wardrobe!

The Rest Of The Outfit

I complemented my new jellies with my classic, so-comfortable-they-could-be-pjs denim jeans, and my France shirt. My Dad bought me this shirt, which is pretty amazing, he does not like buying me clothes, or clothes in general.. I wore this to the local yacht club, and I had a French lady tell me the picture wasn't actually from Paris. I don't remember exactly where.. does anyone know?

Oh, and just so you know.. 

I'll tell you the reason you don't always see my face in my photos. I showed my Mum my blog this morning, and she was like whyy no face? Wow. I've mentioned both my parents now, can you tell I live at home? So, I'll tell you. I'm not hiding my face for privacy or anything like that, it's mainly because I'm not a model, so sometimes I try to go all poser and my face ends up like asdfghjkl.. 

Well. How about I leave you with that mental image of me doing a stooopid face.
